I have never been completley happy with the drop on the back of my Punto.

As most people that have FK coilovers on the back of their MK2 will have found out they don't seem to lower the car enough.

In order to try and solve this I sent my FK rear springs away to the company that made the coilovers I have on the front of my car. (Damper Tech)

A few days later my springs arrived back...

... and after getting my mot out of the way I set on with fitting the newly adapted springs,

Im really happy with the rear drop now

Car sitting a bit lower as it has just dropped out the drive

Yeah thats right! But in my opinion it's just a little too low now

wow, nice color and front... and I really wonder how you get inside without doorhandles.

this kind of mirrors aren't exactly my taste though... and the ride-height, I don't know. to me it looks like broken springs

. if you want your car that low you'd have to rebuild the arches so they encircle the wheel in an optically more pleasant way. hope you know what I mean.

talking about arches: it seems in the UK a lot of Puntos roll on 17". do you just choose narrow ones or do you process the arches heavily to fit these wheels? what dimensions are your wheels? what offset?

last question: never fancied darkened side windows in the front?

Hello, I will try and answer your questions the best I can,

You get inside without door handles by having solenoids fitted. You can either press a button under the mirrors or on the alarm fob and that opens the doors.

The style in the UK is to have you car low and to lose part of the tyre and alloy inside the arch. I know the style in Germany and other parts of Europe is to space wide wheels outsde the arch. I think this can look very good,

My 17" alloys are much narrower than alot of the alloys you use in Germany. They are only 7" wide and ET42. I use 5mm spacers to bring the offset down to around ET37 and my tyres are 195/40 (most people in the UK use 205/40 on 17" alloys). My arch liners and bumpers have been adapted/processed to allow the large suspension drop.

My front side windows have been darkened but in the UK there is a very stict legal limit we are allowed to darken them to. We can darken the back 3 windows as much as we like but the front 2 side windows can only be darkened a small amount. When my interior is finished I plan to have wndows that are not darkened.

Get Low ! Damn, that looks great. Often i see lot of very low Cars in the UK. But how the hell you Guys drive? Are there almost flat streets in UK? We got one User here with the same Front Bumper and he got only 5,5 cm (don´t know in INCH) to the ground. How low are you (Front Bumper to Ground)

The streets in the UK aren't fantastic and we do have speed bumps in places. I just avoid where the speed bumps are and drive carefully.

Below are a couple of pics from around 6 months ago. Some more tuning/cleaning has been done since then however the gap from bumper to the ground is the same now.
